Transpersonal Psychology is a relatively new and evolving field in the world of psychology, focusing on the spiritual and transcendent aspects of human experience. It goes beyond the traditional Western view of psychology, which mainly focuses on the individual and their relationships with others, to include a deeper exploration of the mind, body, and spirit connection. The term “transpersonal” comes from the Latin word “trans,” meaning beyond or through, and “persona,” meaning personality.
